When mixing records, I provide that âlarger than lifeâ feel without losing the real band element. I love big drums (not sound replaced drums) singing in a room with loud guitars. When producing and/or writing I bring melody and emotion out without sounding trite and typical. In my opinion, thereâs no formula for radio, just a killer song.
