Old school is new school. All my gear/tech is pre-1990, almost exclusively analog and 8-12 bit noisemakers. If the Beatles could make Sgt. Peppers on 4 tracks - then that's technically all you need (yes, I do have a few 8 tracks for good measure)

I am a Mastering Engineer based out of Houston TX. I have 20 years of experience in the field. My career started at SugarHill Recording Studios- wearing many hats from intern to Chief Staff Engineer, to Mastering Engineer. I also trained under Dave McNair (formerly of Sterling Sound / Masterdisk) learning techniques for vinyl production.

I have helped numerous people get their song ideas to finished products. When it comes to music production, the words, "it's good enough" have no place in my work flow. When mastering music, "louder is not better". Music should breathe with clarity and dynamics. I pay attention to every detail when mixing and mastering, my results reflect that.
