I play most things with strings. I'll add that extra sparkle on top of your track with a guitar hook melody, create an orchestra of backing instruments with mandolin, banjo, & ukelele, or just lay down a solid rhythm acoustic guitar with doubles to fatten up the sound.
Pedal steel and more informed by years of jazz, pop, rock, country, and r&b performance. I've spent over a decade as a live sideman in all kinds of styles - blues-rock lead guitar, songwriter accompaniment, disco bass, and most recently pedal steel & dobro.
