I write and produce commercial pop music, sometimes leaning singer-songwriter, sometimes leaning pop rock. I write fast, and we'll get a catchy melody with lyrical depth - I'm all about combining commercial sounds and true lyricism. I grew up between two worlds: my family’s deep ties to Chinese traditional music and the years I spent soaking up producing electronic music. I started playing piano and guzheng (Chinese harp) from a very young age; at the age of 14, I started producing my own songs, then went on to study music production, where I graduated with First class honors.
