My exploration of sound began in 1998 when I played my flute through a crybaby wah and a tube amp set to 11. Since then I’ve been taking cool sounds and making them cooler. I am a 7 time Grammy award winning Mixing Engineer, with over 20 years of experience. I believe a great mix is achieved by two things. 1 - Bringing out it’s sonic quality and 2 - Feeling the hidden energy of the song. It’s about transforming a great performance into a musical experience that the artist intended for the listener.

Growing up in a big musical family (a bit like the Von Trapps!), I have been singing professionally from a very young age. I studied Performing Arts at university, and went on to to tour the world as a lead singer, in residential gigs and also on cruise ships. I now gig regularly, including with a 1920s Blues Band.
