Donnie Troy is a quality Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Producer, Composer/Orchestrator and Multi-Instrumentalist with experience working with clients from all over the world both in the US and in the UK.
My mixing philosophy is to be invisible. My priority is to help the artist achieve their vision, ignoring the need to put a personal stamp on the mix or attempt to make it my own. To that end, I am flexible in the methods I employ and will always defer to the tastes of the artist by understanding what's important to them in a mix.
I studied studio/live production techniques and audio mastering at APM, one of the most renowned schools of sound technicians in Italy. I worked for productions produced and distributed by Universal. I perform recordings, editing and intonations, mixings and mastering, for Rock, Pop, Metal, Trap, Hip hop projects. I work as a FOH sound engineer.
