I am a freelance keyboardist, performer, composer, arranger, producer and audio engineer.
We have mastered Oscar and Grammy winners, but don't charge major label prices. My name is Kevin Nix and I own L. Nix Mastering. I have over 30 years experience working on every style of music imaginable. I have top of the line, vintage outboard gear teamed up with state of the art DAW and best of all, great ears and experience.
I am a Bafta nominated UK sound mixer with 27 years industry experience in studio and post production. I can take your audio and make it stand out and sound exceptional. My mix studio is kitted out with Pro Tools 12 HD, UAD Apollo, Twin + Octo satellite, Focal Twin Monitors, keyboards, guitars etc.
I am professional spokenword poet and hiphop recording artist. I write and record demos for other hiphop artist, consultant on verse writing and a spoken word poetry performer. I have performed and workshoped various venues throughout New York City and the tri-state area including the Rockwood music hall, the Bitterend and NYU to name a few.
Creating top notch sonic landscapes is my bliss. I have worked with famous latin rappers Like Neutro Shorty and before that i was engineering all sorts of music genres, now i have my own projects have a self-made EP of 3 songs that have over 400k streams, no ads, no promo just the power of music and advanced sonics.
