Hello my name is Derek Amadeus Long, I've been an engineer for years and am looking to make some memorable sessions together. I've worked with many artists and really am excited to help people create works of audible art.

Specialising in Pop Songwriting, Bass guitar (including fretless) and Synth Bass, I am a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, vocalist and touring professional. I have performed at SWSX, recorded at Maida Vale for BBC RadioOne and had my songs aired on BBC RadioOne, 6music, KEXP and KCRW (LA).
I would love to sing your song. I used to do this for a living for a company called Tin Pan Alley. I can interpret what you are interested in hearing if given the correct direction. I have released records and a few of my songs have gotten very good radio airplay. I write a lot of songs. I produce developing artists who have built careers.
I've worked with many nationally and internationally successful artists as well as countless local and independent talent, in a variety of genres. I love mixing songs in a way that they really shine and represent the vision of the artist/songwriter.
