I am a Grammy nominated music producer and artist, best known as one half of independent soul duo The Foreign Exchange from North Carolina. I have over two decades of experience as a recording and performing artist, music producer and mixer, remixer and (film) composer, garnering hundreds of thousands of sales and millions of streams.
I was born and raised in The Netherlands, Europe and moved to the United States in the mid-2000s on the account of the success of my first album, The Foreign Exchange's Connected (2004). Since then I have produced, mixed and remixed countless of records, including the Grammy nominated single by The Foreign Exchange, "Daykeeper" (2008), and have performed on stages around the world.
My production "Better" by The Foreign Exchange was included on Barack Obama's Summer Playlist in 2022.
I recently scored the upcoming 30 For 30 documentary "False Positive" on ESPN.
I am proficient in R&B and soul, dance and house, DNB, electronica, hip-hop and low-fi/downtempo. I am fluent and well versed in all DAWs, Pro Tools and Ableton in particular.
I studied musicology at the University of Amsterdam.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on anything from R&B/Soul to hip-hop to DNB to house and dance to electronica to low-fi/downtempo.

A: At this point I am fully "in the box" as this allows me to be versatile, flexible and efficient.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a natural talent for creating "records" from start to finish. This includes music production and mix, recording, arrangement and song structure, input on lyrics and subject matter, etc.
