Rubén Alcázar on SoundBetter

Pop-Rock Bassist, Producer & Mix Engineer.

Ruben is a professional bass player based in Barcelona (Spain) with a great background as a session and tour musician. He has been touring and recording for national and international top chart's artists such as Cepeda, Antonio José, Joana Serrat and many others. He started his approach to music as self-taught, but at once he started studying by the academic way. Now he has Modern Music Degree as bass player. He's been studying and working as musician for over 15 years.

He's now combining his skills as a bass player with his work as a producer and mix engineer. 48volts Recording Studio is the place from where he can offer any hi-quality bass tracking, mix or production. Check out their website if you want to see more about the gear you can use for your tracks: www.48volts.net

He is used to play pop, pop-rock, rock, heavy-rock, reggae, folk, americana, soul, R&B... But he has great experience producing and mixing any kind of style.

His musician's philosophy is about adding whatever the song needs, keeping in mind the style, the lead melody, the lyrics and, of course, what the artist want to express on his/her song. He thinks producing and mixing should be considered by the same approach.

Rubén is an outstanding musician who can write, produce, play, arrange and be a live show producer as well. He is a remarkable professional who hands every job on time and puts the hours every project needs to become something that makes the difference.

He's not just a great bass player but also an amazing musician. That's why he's also a great producer. I've shared staged and recording sessions with him and I would not choose another bass player. 100% recommendable pro.

Rubén is one of the best bass players in town. Not only he has a tremendous technique, but he also listens to the other musicians and always has the song in mind. Thats why he,s also a great and versatile producer, capable to understand and improve the songs of any artist. No egos, just hard work and great resulta.

If you need a fine musician, a solid bassist and a hard work mate, Rubén is your bass player. Solid tempo, creative lines and a deep knowledge about harmony and tempo. As a producer, great ideas, creeative force and clear structures. He is the man everybody would like to have in their bands or behind the control desk. He is a great partner and human being, also. Essencial in your team.

Working with Rubén has been a fantastic experience from the very first moment. In my case, he has been the producer, arranger and bassist of my first EP and I can't be happier with the result. He has always been flexible, he has respected my references, he has adapted to the scheduled times and he has put a 100% of commitment and effort to obtain the best results.
I have no doubt that I want to count on him for my future projects.
