Just had Alex tune a lead vocal for me, super quick turnaround from him and it sounds great! No notes, super easy
Alex is a swiss army knife, with a diverse skillset ranging from playing to writing to production to mixing. He’s an amazing collaborator, and is great at adapting his approach to whatever will best serve the song, as well as the creative dynamic in the writing room or studio. Always on the bleeding edge, Alex always keeps it extremely cool, and never delivers anything less than excellent - all the while making the process feel effortless. He understands artists and how to be an incredible collaborator in a way that provides space, support, and insight to take your project to the next level. His palette of sounds is always evolving, infusing the crisp and clean modern with the warm and colorful classic.
Alex did a phenomenal job mixing a song for me recently. He was quick and professional, and brought so much clarity, character and warmth to the track. Really loved working with him and excited to involve him in the next project! Guy's a beast.
Alex is my first choice guitarist for any recording project I go into—he’s got a sensibility that elevates whatever I bring to the table, with a natural ease I’m always so impressed by. He is also a sweet angel!! Vibe is unparalleled. He really cares about his projects, whether he’s mixing, producing, playing live or recording parts. He’s recorded on songs for me across many different contemporary styles—pop, rock, country, folk, R&B, etc—and he’s comfortable in all of them. Great player, sweet boy, true collaborator.
I’ve worked with Alex for over 10 years and I am always thoroughly impressed with the results. Whether it’s a full production, mix, or a guitar track, Alex goes above and beyond to ensure the best quality product. His attention to detail and creative sense is what makes him one of the most in demand creatives to work with.
