I’ve been with the dead to the world collective since the first of January and in the last 6-7 months I’ve seen improvements in not only my music career but in my actual life aswell. I have a dream and they do a great job at helping place the stones I need to walk on to get where I want to be. This is the least cookie cutter management group I’ve been around and I recommend them to anyone trying to make music

Interview with Dead to the World

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on. a song called 'Spongebob' where I wrote and vocalized the lyrics. I am proud of it because it is trending on tik tok and has good results on many other platforms

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on an instagram live stream music competition for artists to win money and gain exposure.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I would recommend Lil Cross, GumbyDTW, and Ethan Marino

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital is the way to go because there is very refined analog style digital equipment. The implementations of technology have improved to where I can have the quality of both by choosing just one.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My promise to clients is to give them the best quality possible no matter what.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I most enjoy about my job and career that I am able to organize my own image, schedule, and be almost like a freelancer in the manner of which I can either choose or lose jobs.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Customers most commonly ask me about what my goals are. I always tell them it's to improve.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that it's incredibly hard to do. With just a little practice everyday, anybody can dedicate themselves and change their image and their skill sets like night and day. Doing this is the key to success.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I would ask them what their main priorities are. It's easy to get wrapped up in the music industry and forget exactly what you're trying to accomplish. I would also ask them why they create music because it's important for any artist.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: The best advice I could give to a customer is to understand your brand and your market, respectively. Understanding this changes the way people see you and solidifies your image in not only your mind but the mind of your fans and consumers.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: I would bring a notebook, a pen, a gun, a frying pan, and a backpack. To write about my environment, to protect myself, feed myself, and to bring my belongings with me.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My career path goes from working on music in high school for fun with friends to building a business with them where we have learned to build financial stability through our music alone. We have been doing this for about 5 years each.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Our style can only be described as incredibly diverse and versatile. However when it is heard in many different ways, it is intricate and creative.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I would love to work with any artist who can mentor me and give me advice to grow. One artist in particular would be Young Thug

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: One tip for music production is to understand your compression. Compression is one of the most important parts of music and can change how the instrument or vocal sounds. Lacking in compression can create a song that lacks entirely.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: We work on mostly hip-hop, but we have a wide range of abilities that reaches to Rock, EDM, and even country.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Our strongest skill is to understand what people want and to execute it. If someone wants a specific mix on a song it is easy for us to both understand and meet their needs in a timely fashion.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: We bring creativity and discipline within our lyrics, cadences, deliveries, and executions. We're proud to be very versatile and bring many different styles to many different songs and genres.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Our process involves helping artists reach their fullest potential. We get very involved with our artists and help them to make the best music, and also to help them understand the marketing and promotion tactics that best work with their brand, all for seeing the best results.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
