Ruben Castro on SoundBetter

My name is Ruben Castro , I am a Los Angeles based Mixing Engineer and I want to help you get the sound you've always wanted. I've assisted engineered sessions with artists like Khalid, Zara Larsson, Maria Isabel. Credits include : Idris Elba, Zara Larsson, Robot 95, The Midnight, Near x Far, NCS, PopSockets.

Started as an assistant engineer for Grammy Winning Producer Latroit, in Los Angeles and eventually had my first opportunity to co-mix Inner City's "We All Move Together" ft. Idris Elba.

In 2021, I started from the ground up at Record Plant Recording Studios, as a runner. During that time, I learned all about recording and using an SSL console. I worked my way up to assist in a few sessions with artists such as: Lil Bibby.

Today, I am an assistant engineer/engineer at Just For The Record in Los Angeles. Some sessions include: Khalid, Zara Larsson, Danja, Maria Isabel, Parkwood Ent.

I am extremely excited to work with you, let's make it happen!
