Patrick began as a drummer and vocalist as a young child. He's since picked up the bass and keys and began producing music a little over 10 yrs ago. Since then, Patrick has been honing his craft in recording/mixing, apprenticing under Producer/Engineer Wayne Becker. Patrick is also enrolled in Berklee's Music Production Degree Program.

Interview with Patrick Roman
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Contemporary Christian
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: It's hard to choose one but I would have to say, an ear for what sounds good.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I've been a musician most my life so I bring my style and experience as a musician
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to my clients desires. I request reference tracks so that I know more or less what direction they want to go in. Even though I'm a drummer, I always start a track on the keys. Unless it has a different vibe and requires a rhythm guitar.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Under Construction! I'm temporarily working out of my sons nursery which unfortunately is limiting, but I'm hoping to finish soon. I'm using a Tascam DM3200 as an interface, mic pre's, mixer, control surface. I use FL Studio for it's ease of use in producing a raw track. I use Studio One for tracking, mixing, and mastering. Then I send my mix through a Dangerous D-Box for analog summing
