Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Recording a guitar part for an artists Christmas album.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because it makes my work flow so much faster. But I do use some analog components as well.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will be happy. If you are not happy I will redo anything until your happy.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The music
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long will it take to do my recording? My answer: it depends on how ready your band is. If your well rehearsed it will go very quickly.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't just hire someone based on how much they charge. A lot of times people charge to much to give the appearance of professionalism.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Guitar, saxophone. Computer, and recording interface.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been working professionally as an artist and recording engineer since I was 19. My only regular job was walmart right after highschool.

A: Randy Rhoads
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Steve Vai, I took his course at Berklee and it was great.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Subtle adjustments are better than major movements
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, blues and country
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Improvising
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A more modern form of the 60s and 70s if the song were recording or mixing allows for that.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: As an engineer I start with scratch tracks and build around that. As a session artist I listen and play along with your tracks for hours before I settle on a final sound for your recording.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We use a digital allen and heath qu mixer as our interface as well as some of its preamp along with a few high-end vintage external preamps
