It's one thing to be a talented musician; It's another thing to be a talented musician that knows their place in a band mix. I believe that intuition is what separates me from the other guy. Having played many instruments in a band, and leading a church music team every week, I know what part I play in making the music sound good.

Guitar:
I can track electric or acoustic guitar, both rhythm and lead parts; Anything from intimate, finger-style, singer-songwriter, to ripping hard rock tones, and anything in between. Upon completion, you will receive a wav. file(s) with your requested guitar parts.

Mixing:
I will import your files into my DAW and mix them to your liking. I specialize in mixing gospel/CCM, singer-songwriter, acoustic, folk, rock, blues, and connecting genres. Your deliverables will include a single wav. file completely mixed to your liking.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Right now, I would love to work with Jordan Feliz or Colton Dixon. I feel like I know their sound and could build on it with something fresh.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Step out of the box. It’s cool to emulate something or somebody, but produce what no one is producing. That’s what stands out.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on indie acoustic-driven, singer songwriter music. It’s a tie between that and anthemic indie rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am strong in building a song dynamically from start to finish. Starting with the end in mind, telling a story and knowing where I want to take it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As a methodical and analytical person, I’m always looking to see what I can do to highlight those special moments in a song to catch and keep a listener listening.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: 1. The artist sits down with me and communicates the vision for the song. They can give examples of songs that have a similar vibe to what they are shooting for. 2. I build the foundation of the song starting with tempo, drums to create rhythm, and a main instrument part to carry the song from chapter to chapter. 3. I will make markers in the session indicating the transitions between verses and choruses. 4. After we have our skeleton, we can expound on the instrumentation and different textures we want to bring out. 5. When there is enough dynamics and meat to the song, I will cut vocals (I find that an artist will react differently to a song that ebbs and flows with enough music rather than a bare bones track).
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My setup is based in my humble 2-bedroom apartment, centered around my hand-built studio desk (based on the Output Platform Desk). My setup is optimized for singer/songwriters.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ryan Tedder is a big inspiration on all the fronts. His career encapsulates a lot of what I aspire to be…a great songwriter, producer, and artist.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most commonly, I’m taking an artist’s song and their vision for the song and bringing it to life in production in my home studio.
