I've been a session player for over 10 years, dabbling on Bari, Tenor, Alto, and Soprano saxophones. I will, record, solo, writ or read horn lines for your track I specialize in Ethiopean, Hasidic, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Afro Beat, and Hous Music.

I Have an M.Mus. in Jazz Frome the Jerusalem Academy of music.
and BFA from the New School For Jazz NYC.
Besides the saxophone, I play on Eb&E didgeridoo and Emeo Electronic sax.
I can read written parts, create my own parts, and improvise over all genres.
If needed, I have the ability to mix my own track.

I have played on many albums and singles in different styles and released a record under my own name.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Which type of saxophone do you want me to play? What are the time markers I will be playing on? Do you have sheet music, chord sheets, or midi files? What kind of articulation do you want? What kind of improvisation do you want? Are there any audio examples that are similar to what you want me to sound like? Do you want the sax to sound exactly like the midi samples or do you want something else?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: my 4 horns and reeds for them.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing for 23 years and been a session player for 10 years
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm a versatility player, however, my style has been described by my colleges as groovy, soulful, melodic, and powerful.

A: Highest quality sound and performance.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have a clear vision for what you want the saxophone to do. think which kind of saxophone you would like, soprano, alto, tenor or bari, what kind of improvisation-sparse and smooth/high and screaming. be open to hear my professional opinion.

A: I am happy to work with any artist that is passionate about their project and makes good music.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: All of the Hoodna Orchestras albums, I was the Bari sax player there.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Recording an Album with the Hoodna Orchestra and writing a book on the Ethiopian scales.

A: the both have their own vibes.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping people to create a piece that moves other people.

A: Always be open to what the music is telling you, learn to accept it, and deliver it to the listener.

A: listining.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Making sure I understand the song and the guidelines I got from the customer. Bringing the dynamic, groove, feel, and vibe that the song needs with my own full sound on my horns.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen, learn, write, make sure I'm tuned, check the levels and mic placements, record, and send it for a review. Maybe drink some coffee in between ☺️
