Benedetto Pascale on SoundBetter

I can sell beats and instrumentals. I can get a vocal and find the right chords and melodies to make it sound even more great. I can mix and master your song professionally. I worked with several artists and on many projects including songs for Armada Music & Sony Music Italy. I collaborated with the legendary Fonoprint Studio in Bologna.

I'm a music producer with 6 years of experience. I have several independent releases under 3 different projects collecting in the time more than 3 000 000 streams. I have a huge passion on making music with my synths and I love creating uplifting melodies and crazy beats.
I have 2 degrees in music production from London School of Sound where I learnt how to produce a song in the whole process.

My most successful project has been "Ben Cryde". You can have a listen in the music store you like.

My goal on SoundBetter is to finance my own original songs selling the beats or the instrumentals I make which don't fit and suit the ideas and concepts related to my new artist project.

I love to experiment with music, but the genres I feel more close to my hears are definitely Pop, Dance and Electronic music. I can make Rap oriented songs too as in my career I recorded and released many rappers.

Let's make some music together.

Great producer. Really good communication and a clear vision while giving me a lot of freedom with the song. Would definitely work with him again.

Great record producer and sound engineer. I assisted him with the recording of "Supercharger" in a studio, along with a couple other people and of course, Ben himself. To this date it remains one of the most exciting and creative environments I have worked in.

Interview with Benedetto Pascale

  1. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  2. A: I'd like to work with a nice and passionate person. Artists are different from each others and that's what I like the most. I don't have a proper kind of Artist I would love to work with. If she/he's talented, he/she's my mate.

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: Both. Because the best is combine the past with the present to grant the future.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: Emotional and aggressive.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Well. I won't share it my secret one, but I would advise to a singer to trust the recording engineer. To focus on what it belongs to the vocal performance. To a producer I would advise to don't care too much about the technical aspect of the sounds during the composition of song. Get straight and focused to get a nice sounding structure. Then you can work on the sounds and produce the songs. Before mixing you need to have a nice and fresh combination of sounds, melodies and beats.

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: I usually make dance oriented music. In the last months I worked more on pop or rap flavors and I can't answer you with a "type" of music I make.

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: Probably the patience, but I'd like to feel that my greatest skill is my quick hear on what's right or wrong in the melody/chords harmony.

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: I bring passion and experimentation. I always try to find the new sound, the new melody. I like to give something fresh and new to a song I'm working on.

  15. Q: What's your typical work process?

  16. A: I usually start from a melodie or a chord progression. Sometimes a beat come up naturally and that gives the real start. There's nothing close to a formula in my view on music production. What it feels good for the hears, its something nice to work on.

  17. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  18. A: I have a home studio with nice gear and a good acoustic. I use mostly vintage synths and plugins to process audio and midi files. I use Logic X since 2013 and I really love it.

  19. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  20. A: I got inspired by Avicii sense of melodies and beats. Daft Punk where my first love with "Discovery". Now I listen almost everything from Pop to Tech House or Funk.

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: I usually make rap beats and pop instrumentals.
