Session bassist

I am mostly a bass player but also earn a living playing rhythm guitar and singing. I have extensive background in jazz bass and vocals but can provide tracks for any genre of music.

I have been in many bands over the years, but the most important one, in my opinion, is a jazz combo group called the Flock of Uncles, in which I play bass and provide backing vocals. I am also a youth worship pastor, providing rhythm guitar and lead vocals to many musicians of varying talents. I have some songwriting experience and prefer to write my own bass parts. I can read music and harmonize very well. I also play tuba, clarinet, and piano at a collegiate level. I have a B.A. in Music, having taken many musical theory classes and achieving competency in all classical instruments.
