Wow. Can’t even explain how amazed we are with his mixing and mastering and very quick turn around. He was very easy to work with- loved what we had and added his extra touch we never would have thought of. If you need a BANGER - def recommend. I’ve used 8-10 other engineers in the past and were never satisfied so quickly. I’ll define be a repeat customer.

Interview with Kings Studio

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: i used to ghost produce a lot! still do kind of but nowadays its not ghost production anymore because they'll put me in the credits. one thing i can say is that i worked on a song for ariana grande's dangerous woman album!

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: always working on many projects at a time...but right now producing an album mainly right now! currently in album mode

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: i would recommend anyone of my past clients! they were all amazing and i've worked with all my clients repeatedly. even became a full time engineer for one of them!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: digital because im not always working in one spot. im always on the go, so its important for me to be mobile! but i do love analog

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: to make them happy!

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: everything! im just a fan of music so anytime i can listen to music is a dream

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: most customers ask me about payments! Im super open to talk about payments, im always flexible on your situation so dont sweat it. just message me and we can talk about it

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: that its easy hahah

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: i always ask for EXACTLY what they want. its their music so pretty much anything they say goes. If im doing production then i'll ask them to make a playlist or just send me 5 songs for reference tracks that they like. these 5 songs should have the same feel and vibe that they want

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: message me and we can talk about it! i understand that every song needs different things and thats what im best at. quick turnaround times too!

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: my apollo twin, ns-10s, aurotone speaker, computer and hard drive (cause im all itb)

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: started producing when i was 10 and got into mixing when i got older. i've been producing for 10 years!

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: clean and punchy

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: i cant pick just one hahaha i want to work with everyone that i mentioned above who inspire me.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: keep it simple, but that doesn't mean just using 1 sound for a certain job. for example lets talk about snares. you might hear a song and only hear one cohesive snare. but that snare is actually 4 different layers, coming together to make that "1 snare". i always say simplicity is complex.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: edm/hiphop/rnb

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: production! specifically melodies though

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: whatever the song needs! anything that gets the job done

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: i dont really have a typical work process, every case is different! i just always do a bit of everything....i mix as i produce.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: apollo twin, ns-10s, aurotone, slate digital vms,

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Everyone and everything inspires me but if i had to pick: - skrillex, zedd, grey, cashmere cat, louis the child - benny blanco, frank dukes, louis bell, max martin, kenny beats

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Production and mixing! Grew up producing since I was 10 years old and eventually needed people to mix my records. Every time they came back i hated it so i decided to learn how to mix/master myself.

I was the Producer, Writer, Mixing Engineer in this production
