I am a producer, mixing and mastering engineer. I produce Hip Hop and EDM music. I've produced, mixed and mastered for a couple of artists now and would like to expand and work with more artists. I'm currently taking classes at Full Sail University.
I have over a couple of years of experience inside a DAW. I've worked in studios but I work from home with my own equipment. I have four DAW's that I have but really only work in Pro Tools and Ableton. I own a pair of Yamaha HS7's that I mix on in a treated room also Bose Q 35 headphones. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Producer/DJ "Getter" and Mixing engineer Derek "MixedbyAli" are the professionals that have inspired me to take my skills to the next level.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm especially proud of the work I have done on the new Remy Nine Seven album which hasn't been released yet but I produced on it.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on a couple EDM and Hip Hop mixes.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because all the equipment I have is digital.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best and spend however many hours it takes me to get their songs the way they want.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The new music I hear from different artist's and how I can put some of my experience into their mix.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How I do things with certain reverb's and ultimatums.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: How much time I spend on a mix because some people think it doesn't take that long but most of the time it does and also some people just don't understand the process of a song beginning to end.

A: What is your vision for your song?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The advice that I will need from my customer is what feeling they are looking for so I can do my best to match the feeling they want and also any specific details they might want in the mix.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook, Midi controller, Interface, Yamaha Hs7's monitors, and a pair of headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started learning the basics inside a DAW and then I worked my way into producing and then after like a year, I started working on the Mixing and Mastering part which I've been going to school for.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is like wide ambient with punchy drums but that depends because I like to create different styles.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The artist that I would love to work with is Getter. I find his mixes and production on his tracks to be crazy and interesting. The entire time I'm listening to his work I try to picture what he does to each individual sound he has in his mix and how he gets it to stand out.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid sometimes to mix while your producing because sometimes you shape the sounds you want in the mixing stage.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The music that I usually work on is Hip-hop and EDM music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is probably being able to hear a loop over and over and over again. I find that to be a huge advantage because people get tired of hearing the same thing over and over and they take breaks throughout the session which kills the workflow and also puts the mix on hold.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: What I bring to a song when I produce is a vide that the artist wants. I'm pretty good on feeling what the artist wants or how they wanna take the song and I can provide the beat and sample behind his vocals. What I bring to a song when I mix and master is a wide mix and punchy drums. I like to EQ quite a bit to clean what I'm hearing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to the rough mix and get some idea's on what I want to do.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is my Macbook pro with four DAW's on it which are Ableton, Pro Tools, Logic, and Reason. I also have the waves bundle plugin for mixing which I mix and master on my Yamaha HS7's in a treated room. To increase my workflow I have a 40in monitor that I hook my computer up to. I have multiple MIDI controllers that I also use when I produce.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do is Mix and Master tracks for multiple artists and also produce for them as well.
