Hello! My name is Tarka and I am a Nashville based session and touring electric and upright bassist for hire. Currently touring with Larkin Poe, The Sisterhood Band, Jessie James Decker, Harrison Whitford, Daniel Donato, and many more!
I grew up in Florida studying jazz heavily and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. I have a lot of experience playing many different styles and generas of music. I have spent the last several years of my life nonstop on the road and in the studio doing what I love. I always strive to groove, give the song what it needs, and sonically dial in an ideal tone for your song. I hope we get to work together soon!
