Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A singer can sing and apply technique, but I do more than that. I have a unique tone, and edge. I sing with passion and I don't overdo it. I give the song what it needs. My voice tone is not generic which would make your song stand out. I have a lot of soul.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I'll typically get to work right away by listening to the song that I need to sing on whether that be lead or backing and find something in the song that emotionally connects me to it. After that, I'll flesh out vocal melody or back up ideas on my recording app before hitting the mic. Then I'll lay down layers of backings, hitting multiple octaves to give the client options. For a lead melody if asked to write one with lyrics I will provide 2 ideas.
