concentrating on finding ways of capturing musical performance in a way that preserves its spontaneous energy, whilst presenting the aesthetic of a rich, warm and natural sound. The process employed in the realisation of this aim is achieved by utilising mostly vintage analogue equipment. The performances are recorded completely live or a mixture of live and overdubs, the essence being to preserve the freshness and spontaneity of the playing as much as possible. This approach differs from the piecemeal nature of digital recording and even though it presents certain limitations on the participants as opposed to computerised methods, the limitations actually turn out to be beneficial to creating a record of performed sonic art in the best possible way
