Salam, My name is Heidi, from Egypt.
I'm a Singer, performing artist and I learnt to play Piano & Oud
I studied with well-known oud player, Naseer Shamma, And played in his orchestra for several years.
I hold a BA in Arabic Music and now I got awarded a 4 years scholarship to study Musical theatre.
I have performed in various venues including FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich, KIFF art space in Aarau, Laografikó mouseío Drákeias in Greece, the Light and Sound at the Giza Pyramids with Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, The Cairo Opera House, the Greek Campus at the AUC and The Alexandrian Library.
I've worked with Choirs in Cairo, performing translated musicals.
I have also been the vocalist of the Sky Atlantic series Little birds' soundtracks, King Lear play (AR version), Dof'et elQahera - Kuwaiti series.
I'm offering my services as an Arabic singer. I can provide for you stellar, well-performed improvised vocals in any Arabic, Eastern or Turkish scale which I find extra special.

Daddou is amazing! I used her on a track of mine. I wrote an experimental piece that was ambient and dreamy. She sang special lyrics of an old Arabic poem and improvised them over my track. The melody came out beautifully formed and performed. Her voice is soft and dreamy and added a lovely texture that made the track more special with her performance. I highly recommend!
