PODCAST Audio post-production and editing

Audio engineer specialized in podcast production and post-production.

My specialty is handling podcast projects, editing and mixing shows for clients. As a podcaster myself, I have a deep understanding of show creator's wishes and needs.

Besides editing and mixing, I also offer sound design to include in your show for higher production value. My job is to transmit energy to listeners through our voices, good sound designs come in handy to convey the spirit of the show.

As a podcast specialist, I don't only post-produce pre-recorded audio, but also offer a variety of on-location assistance and recording guidance, may it be in our own professional studio, or over other internet conference call, so we can be confident in top-quality sound files.

Interview with Matej Halilagic

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: There have been many projects with difficult parts. But I think the one is a podcast that failed to record one of the tracks so the person needed to do it again. I had to put in the track without people noticing the difference. And I can claim that it was 100% succses.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Podcasting projects such as Agrejd, 19 Hz, This is old news,...

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Mostly digital. Since the work I provide is almost always like a radio show and it goes to digital media, I think there is no need for amazing outboard equipment.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I can promise to deliver the best quality product. And will be in communication with them all the time until the end of the project. So we can make sure that the end product is what they wish for.

  10. A: That I can help amazing creators produce amazing content.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: How much will this cost? The answer is simple. Depends on your needs and wishes, length of the show, etc.., So I can not put a fixed price on a thing that has so many variables.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: The biggest misconception is the time. People think that you can provide an amazing product in no time.

  16. A: Do you have a script? If yes can I see it? How long is your show? Do you have an intro and outro? What was the recording equipment? Do you need sound design for your show? What is the desired format of the show?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Do your recordings in a professional studio or at least ats close as it gets to that. Having a bad recording right from the start can not make your show sound good.
