Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Elijah Kireyev.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: A lot of questions and talks before starting something. I want to feel in the same mood before I touch an instrument.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Michael Cretu, Micheal Donald Chapman, Nicholas Barry Chinn, Michael Paul Stavrou, Alan Parson
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Lyrics for a big concert of our local rock star V. Mitrokhin.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use my home studio for demo records. Big projects I make in cooperation with other studio specialists.

A: I will be honest.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: MIDI keys, Cubase, RODE mike, Ibanez guitar and Shure headphones.

A: Songwriting. Lyrics in three languages (English, Russia, and Latvian).

A: The reaction of my clients when work is done well.

A: Pop-rock songs, rock songs, electronics.

A: Talk as much as you can about your project to understand each other better.

A: I try to make my work as close to your idea as it is possible.

A: Make it by heart.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started in school, like many others. We played rock and wrote some own song. I started to write songs at the same time I started to play guitar. I was 15 then. I played the piano also from my 6. From the late 80th, I started to cooperate with other musicians and write some lyrics for them. My first album in English was released in 1997.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I am not a bigger professional than you, we are only human.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Only the best pro can make a good analog record.

A: Lyrics for "Mitrokhin's Master Band" from Latvia and "Astro Band" from NY, USA.
