Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Only the best pro can make good analog record.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will be honest.

A: Reaction of my clients when work is done.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The sound is more important than song itself.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: MIDI keys, Cubase in a laptop, RODE mike, Ibanez guitar and Shure headphones.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use my home studio for demo records. Big projects I make in cooperation with other studio specialists.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting. Mostly lyrics in three languages (English, Russia and Latvian).
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Remastering of "Twins Peek" album. They liked it very much, because the sound became more live and clear. Wrote some new lyrics for their new album this year. Lyrics for "Mitrokhin's Master Band". Some of these songs are very popular in Latvia.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: New song for my daughters wedding.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: A lot of questions and talks before start something. I want to feel in the same mood before I touch instrument.

A: Michael Cretu, Micheal Donald Chapman, Nicholas Barry Chinn, Michael Paul Stavrou, Sergey Kharuta, Igor Laletin.
