Jaime Velez is a Grammy Award-Winning, Multi-Platinum, recording/mixing engineer whose most recent credits include Daya’s hit debut of “Hide Away” and the Grammy-Winning record "Don't Let Me Down" by The Chainsmokers.
Jaime Velez began his career four and a half years ago as the head engineer at a recording studio, and after two years he earned his first Grammy nomination and had a record on the major motion picture, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. He also gained another accolade as Billboard Hot 100 recording and mix engineer with the success of Daya’s hit debut of “Hide Away” and the Grammy-Winning record by The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down." Jaime is a managing partner of a recording studio, Blackwood Studios LLC. Jaime has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of artists, songwriters, producers, and DJs, would love to collaborate with you and mix your project.
