  1. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  2. A: Mixing and mastering are the two most common services that I'm requested.

  3. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  4. A: For production professional I'd say: Chris Lord Alge, Joe Barresi, Andrew Scheps. As for musicians they are far too many to list them here... It'd just be boring :)

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: It's mainly digital based. Focusrite audio interfaces running through the computer and my DAW.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: Listen to the song, listen again, balance, edit, mix, go creative, master.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: I'm always trying to give each song something special and different from the others.

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: Open minded.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: Mainly rock music. I sometimes produce EDM music too.

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: I always have two compressors with low-mid ratio on my submix group! I make the mixing process more exciting to me.

  17. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  18. A: The Cure. Because I grew up listening to them and I'm a collector of their work since then.

  19. Q: How would you describe your style?

  20. A: Free.

  21. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  22. A: Anarchy Machine. A Portuguese rock band I started following and I'm still help them growing. They are a very young group with lots of good things ahead. I had worked with them recording, mixing and mastering their songs.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have been producing my own songs since I started my music career. So I'd say more than 15 years. I have been into rock, metal, EDM projects and I have played keyboards, guitars, synths. Most of them I was involved in the producing process all the time.

  25. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  26. A: A tape recorder, a mic and a small mixer... the other two I would choose something to work as an instrument. Now I'm able to create and record music until someone find me.

  27. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  28. A: Always be sincere on your opinions.

  29. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  30. A: The type of music they create and their goals.

  31. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  32. A: Has a freelance people tend to think that we're not at the same position has big studio professionals are.

  33. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  34. A: "Is it mastered yet?" My answer: "this is the mix only man" :P

  35. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  36. A: I love it.

  37. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  38. A: You only pay if you're satisfied with the result.

  39. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  40. A: Both. I love to get the best of both worlds and run them into the songs.
