Rory Sullivan on SoundBetter

Indie folk singer/songwriter who specializes in acoustic music. Sounds like John Mayer, Marc Cohn and James Taylor put together. Top awards include grand prize for the Cd Baby & Sara Evans Songwriting Contests in 2012 and 2015.

I'm an indie/folk singer/songwriter with 12 years writing/guitar/singing performance experience and 9 years recording experience. I've made 3 albums, 1 single, and am on a compilation record w/ John Oates, Cyndi Lauper, Emmylou Harris. I've recorded songs for documentaries (i.e. John Sanvidge's "Better Now" from Finding Seoul", available on Netflix), written songs for theater plays including the off-Broadway "Versailles", and music for film including the up and coming short, "He Calls Them All By Name". I've done countless vocal sessions, many for Will Ackerman for his artists up at Imaginary Roads Studios (http://imaginaryroadstudios.com) and for Jack Walker (composer for the Johnathon Edwards Show). I specialize in pop/rock and folk genres.

Rory is very talented and a true professional. I gave him a good deal of latitude artistically because I enjoy his original music. He did not disappoint! He was also very timely and easy to work with.
I will definitely use Rory again in the future.

Super easy to work with. Rory took was what was just a basic melody and lyrics and turned it into a masterpiece. Every step of the way had a check in to see if it was headed in the direction I wanted.
