Interview with Andrew Ayaz

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: I promise to be fully dedicated to the client no matter how many people I am working with. Also I will make sure to give the client everything they want to hear as well as adding my personal touches where necessary to help the song reach its full potential.

  3. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  4. A: I would like to know a little bit of information about them like where they are from, what inspires them to make music, what music do they listen to everyday, and what is there vision with the song(s).

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I've been doing this for about 6 years and stared making music for my hip hop group, then branched out working on more electronic music, and now working on local artists music that do hip hop, house, and Alternative/Indie.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: One tip I use frequently is not doing to much to the song and to keep it as close to the original idea as possible.

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: I usually work on electronic, hip hop, and alternative; however I would like to get more into the rock.

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: My strongest skill is my knowledge of music and musical instruments. I find this to be a big advantage when working on recorded music because i can understand how every instrument is supposed to sound and the best way to get that sound.
