Tom has been honored with 9 Grammy Awards, and recorded multiple Oscar, Emmy, and Tony honored projects. In 2010, he won Best Instrumental Soloist Performance (without Orchestra) for Journey To The New World, Sharon Isbin (Joan Baez & Mark O’Connor) and in 2009 he won Best Engineered Album, Classical Traditions And Transformations: Sounds Of Silk Road Chicago, Yo-Yo Ma & Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Best Classical Vocal Performance Corigliano: Mr. Tambourine Man: Seven Poems Of Bob Dylan, Hila Plitmann & Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, he produced and engineered the prestigious Van Cliburn Competition DVD, which won the broadcasting and cable industry’s most prestigious honor, the George Foster Peabody Award.
