Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Pop songs for my project.

A: Both. Lucious. Best of both worlds.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Truth and respect.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Never know what character you're going to meet today.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How do you write a song. lol. I don't.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's glamorous. It's 95% sweatpants.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you see the outcome of your project in a a year.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Trust your instincts.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Vintage Neumann U 67, LA2A, Neve pre, Fairchild, Ubk Fatso
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Starting singing before I could talk. Studied acting in NYC while singing in corporate bands at events across the US. Moved to LA to write hooks and work on my project.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Funky and eclectic
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Greg Kurstin because he is sweet and is from the school of band based writing. He also is a genius musician, jazz trained.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: More space in production to give artist melodic room. Less busy. Free.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Have strong unique idea, write soaring melodies with catchy hooks.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Attitude. Strong visual story. Wide range of vocals. Power vocal. Soulful low and pop mid range.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Different for each song, yet like to solidify the concept and visual for the song first. Write the hook. The rest falls into place with the story.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have Neumann live vocal mic into mic e pre/amp compressor. Use BAE lunchbox. Waves and Sound Toys pluggins. Use mastering from Brian Lucey once I complete a rough mix.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Bad ass females who have soul and empower other women inspire me; Madonna, Rihanna, Aretha, Dolly Parton, Gaga. I love the production of Greg Kurstin. Love Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter writing team. Kuk Harrell is the go to pop vocal producer.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write concepts, melodies and lyrics for artists. Sing backgrounds and harmonies. Demo other writers ideas.
