  2. A: I'm a musician. Started a band 15 years ago and never stoped. I've done FOH, studio assistant, roadie, road manager, booker and now I've been working steadly in my studio, qith other artists, and in my own music.

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: At this moment it would be Kimbra because of the challenge it is to have such a creative mind to work with.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: If it's not right maybe there's to much on it.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: Everything is done for the sake of the song. No two songs are the same. No two artists are the same. My approach is to get rid of all the distractions and go straight to what it feels it's right. Editing is kept to a minimum and only if necessary.

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: I work through an Universal Audio Apollo 16 and and Oram T Series 16. My ears listen to two pairs of speakers, Focal CMS 40 and Yamaha NS10M.

  12. A: I'm a huge fan of Sylvia Massy, Rick Rubin and Brendan O'Brien, at their different expertises. Artist wise I have a big apetite for many artists and genres. From Stone Temple Pilots, Jeff Buckley, Glassjaw, Tool, Karnivool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kimbra, Gallows, Led Zeppelin, Ryan Adams and Sigur Rós, just to name a few.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: My work is always a creative one with the main focus in musical production. I want to get it just right, emotion has to come through in the most natural way. I have a large set of tools to get the songs to their sweet spot and I don't back down until I get there.

  15. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  16. A: I bring objectivity and the tech to achieve it.
