Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
I tracked, mixed and assistant mastered a track for a client about 4 months ago that ended up being released as a single. She was a fairly well known singer/songwriter in the New York scene. I tracked everything my self using a 64 channel SSL console. I mixed the track using the same console using all types of techniques like parallel compression with Analog compressors. I also performed and co-arranged Backing Vocals on the track with the artist. I'm very proud of the result that came out of that experience.
What are you working on at the moment?
At the moment I'm programming some music for a client. He needs backing tracks for his upcoming live performances. I am also helping a client put chords to his original music in a sort of pre-production phase of recording his single. We will be going into the studio to track live instruments in a week.
Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
If you need female vocals I can totally recommend my friend Bea Go. She does some amazing work.
Analog or digital and why?
Both have their uses. In most cases you can't beat an analog sounding unit but they are not always easy to get your hands on. Digital plug ins can make a process much speedier and also create a similar result if you are using the right plugins.

It's good for me to turnover projects faster and good for the client to have things back in a timely fashion. In saying that, I don't like to rush projects without putting the proper time and effort into it. I want my clients to come back time and again.
