JJ’s Den Studio on SoundBetter

JJ’s Den Studio - Recording - Mixing and Mastering Studio. Owned by JJ, Recording and Mixing Engineer by The Rec W (USA) and The Contemporary Music Conservatory (Mexico).

I am not a beatmaker, or so called “producer”. I am a proper audio engineer with the education, hence knowledge, equipment and passion to make your music sound the way it should. I also offer Online 1-1 Audio, Mixing and Mastering Lessons.

I have experience working at commercial recording studios, equally experienced and comfortable working with an analog console, a patchbay to outboard gear, to tape, hybrid or full in the box. My equipment includes full array of top of the line guitars, amps, drums, synths, guitar pedals, basses, monitors, multichannel interfaces, preamps, and can provide a full array of plugins, and microphones of all types, from dynamic to ribbon, going through condenser mics.

Fully fluent in Protools, Logic, Ableton, Luna, and Mixbus 32C.

Aside from my school studies in audio theory, tracking, mixing and mastering, I have taken many many courses, masterclasses with some of the most highly regarded professionals in the business (Bob Katz, Craig Bauer, Hans Mues, Alex Venguer, Jeff Ling... to name a few), and most importantly, I have extensive real world experience tracking, mixing and mastering many artists, experimenting with many conventional and unconventional recording setups and mixing techniques in order to provide whats needed to the artist.

Music is my passion, but audio and mixing is my life.

Como maestro en mix y master es demasiado claro en lo conceptos y paciente al la hr de explicar, se observa que tiene bastante experiencia en la materia, siempre con el suficiente tiempo para responder tus dudas no sólo en las clases, también fuera de ellas.

He’s a great and talented producer. He knows a lot about mixing and mastering and music in general. He’s very passionate about music. I’ve been taking mixing lessons with him and he’s really good teaching and makes sure he’s very clear when explaining something.

I had a very good experience working with Juan. He mastered 4 of my songs, and even helped me with the aggregator publishing process.

Will definitely put him on first priority to engineer and mix my next songs.

I took audio mixing lessons at JJ's Den Studio and it was an amazing experience. We are not only talking about mixing, but about the whole context of music. He has extensive knowledge about the process chain within the mix and also high quality equipment for recording. This is definitely one of the guys you want to have for your project.
