My name is David Rodríguez Velázquez, I'm a 20 year old composer, independent artist and producer student in Mexico City. I've been studying music production since I was 18 years old. My knowledge includes DAW handling, MIDI handling, music theory, recording, and synthesis.
I also play piano, acoustic and electric guitar and ukulele. I can compose both arrangements and songs. I've already worked in short films, studio recording, business jingle creating, and as a session musician.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I made the music for a short film, I was in all the process, in the recording, post-production, selecting the actors, etc. But the most especial part for me was the spotting and making all the music, with just a couple of orchestra plug ins and a lot of dedication I learn a lot of Music production for films.

  4. A: Music production, jingles, film scoring, composing.

  6. A: Both, they have their pros and cons.

  8. A: The smile on the face of every person I work with when they enjoy their song or record.

  10. A: "What music style are you in?" "Tell me more about the song or the project" "How would you like to sound?"

  14. A: I'm actually studying music production and music for a couple years.

  16. A: Joji, Billie Eilish or Finneas, I love the way they compose, style and his workflow.

  18. A: Don't try to imitate another producer or musician.

  20. A: Pop, Hip-Hop, rock, R&B, orchestral, electronic.
