What are you working on at the moment?
My own E.P.
Analog or digital and why?
Hybrid. Precision of digital and the warmth and the happy little accidents that come with analog.
What's your 'promise' to your clients?
To put my all in your project and make sure you are completly sastisfied.
What do you like most about your job?
The ability to help make someones dream for their project/art come true. Jamming out to the finished song, or for sound designing for games, seeing the world come to life in a new way.
What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
Twiddle knobs and press a few buttons and you are finished. Well... it kind of is like that, but much more complicated.
If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
Ah man, it would have to my my laptop, headphones, a usb mic and a generator. A laptop needs to be powered somehow, right?
What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
Music from the get-go. I have always loved audio and wanted a life revolving it from an early age. Once I discovered audio engineering I knew that's how I wanted to do it.
How would you describe your style?
Laid back and chill yet fun.
Which artist would you like to work with and why?
K.Flay for sure. I love her music and her style. She seems like she would such a joy to work with.
Can you share one music production tip?
You are what you dare to be. Try different things and experiment. If it sounds good, it is good.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Normally electronic or pop/rock.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I use Vsts from Output, Native intstruments and Slate Digital. DAWs includes Presonus Studio One and FL Studio 12. A mix of Rode and Blue mics and I also have collective some odd stuff that just makes cool sounds for sound designing. Sounds changes the way we see the world!
