I’ve had Chris mix 10 songs for me now. He’s really easy to work with and has great instincts as a mixer. I feel like many mixers nowadays go for a “good balance” with their mixes and in doing so produce a pretty boring sound but Chris builds his mixes around a certain element in the song which I think gives each song a stronger more interesting identity. I also appreciate that Chris never makes me feel like my notes are an inconvenience. He’s really relaxed and obviously wants the artist to be satisfied with the end result.
