My goal is to help you achieve the sound you hear in your head while also bringing my own unique style! I have a vast assortment of rhythms from all over the world to choose from to give your track the feel and groove it deserves. With over 15+ years of live experience, I have the ability to bring the energy of a performance into the studio.
My name is Daniel Fresco and I am a professional live performance and session drummer based in NYC. I perform live & record with a number of different bands/artists that play all different genres. From EDM to Funk, Rock to Jazz, I bring diversity to every style of music. I pride myself on versatility and dynamics in every musical situation. Dynamics, texture, feel, and groove are some of my favorite tools to use to enhance the drums in any studio session. It would be a pleasure to serve your drumming needs!

Endorse Daniel FrescoFresco is everything you want in a drummer/collaborator. He is endlessly positive and creative. I've had the pleasure of working with him for live performances as well as studio recordings and I've had consistently rewarding experiences where I always come out feeling like we created something really strong, unique, and professional. He is incredibly talented and always brings his soul to every song we play. Because of this, my music is better than it has ever been.
Not only is Daniel Fresco one of my best friends, he is my absolute favorite drummer to work both in and out of the studio. Both his skills and positive mindset are a great combination during those long and grueling days in the studio. I was honored to have him play drums and percussion on a number of my future releases and I look forward to all of our future collaborations together !
Interview with Daniel Fresco
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am especially proud of my work on the Lew McKenzie album, "Formerly Known As". I had the pleasure of being the session drummer and percussionist on the vast majority of the record.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on becoming a better session musician, producer and song-writer, as well as recording with a few different artists for upcoming releases!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because it allows me to access many different ways of manipulating sound to create 3D soundscapes!
