I can do almost all metal vocals stuff: screaming, growling, fry, falsechord, harsh, clean vocals with a little bit distortion. Clean vocals is not my best, but some simple parts between extreme vocals I can do too. I sing extreme vocals since 2009. Now I'm vocalist in bands Splitmind (nu metal / metalcore) and Wicked cat (melodic death metal)

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Splitmind - Nothing to regret (EP). I wrote lyrics, vocal melody and recorded vocals for it. I like the sound we done with my band

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I write lyrics, vocal melody and recording vocals for my bands. Also I doing some marketing stuff. We plan to do singles every 1 mounth

  6. A: No

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: It seems to me that in 2021 there is no difference (at least for the listener)

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: There will be no indifferent listeners (if the music is good)

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Listen to a good result

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: It's so individual

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: "Your voice will be destroyed soon"

  18. A: What kind of sound do you want to get? What vocalists do you like? Are there any preferences in terms of vocals's height and technique (growl, scream, etc.)? Do you want me to come up with a vocal melody myself or will you provide a reference, as you see it?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Just listen and decide whether you like it or not

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Difficult question. I think I would have died on the first day :)

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started in 2009 myself. And in 2013 I turned to the teacher. Since that time, I had many teachers and I still continue to study and try something new

  26. A: Just brutal and agressive

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I don't know what to answer. But I can say that I would like to work in genres unusual for me to add into it a little aggression (for example, hip-hop, electronic music)

  30. A: Think about what the listener wants to hear without trying to fit all of musical skills into one chorus

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Death/thrash/black metal, metalcore, deathcore and other metal

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: I think middle screaming

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Aggressive and punch sound

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I listen to full song several times and look at the lyrics. I think about the vocal melody for different parts of the song. Then I try to record it and during the recording I continue to correct the vocal melody until I like the result. After that I doing and record backing vocals

  44. A: Recording extreme vocals (screaming, growling, etc.) in metal songs (death/thrash/black metal, metalcore, deathcore, etc.)
