I specialize in making things work. As a bass player I always want to find the way to improve the time feel in music, make the song structure and beat flow. As a mixer, I want everything to have its place and I think it is crucial to know what the artist expectations are, so communication is my top priority.

My name is Gonzalo, I'm a bass player with over 15 years of experience playing many styles; from jazz to latin music, pop, rock, reggae, and even classical music with orchestra, both as soloist and on the double bass section.

I have technical training in arrangements, since I am a graduate of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral as an Arranger. And I'm currently touring with my band Canticuénticos with whom I've recorded 4 albums and have over 500.000 subscribers in YouTube and over 350 millons views. I can be your bass player, with carefully designed bass lines, with a proper dynamic range and feel combined with outstanding sounding quality, provided by my custom made basses that are equipped with Bartolini and Audere gear, Focusrite ISA preamp and Antelope Orion Studio interface that will give you an amazing sound for your music. I have a bass for any style: Jazz bass Fender fretted sound, Jazz bass Fender fretless sound, modern sounding bass and upright bass.

I am also working more and more in producing and mixing. I specialize in acoustic sounding productions, and work with a transformer summing unit and an analog bus compressor handmade in the style of SSL. I also use the amazing processing capabilities of my Antelope Audio interface, and I'm skilled in editing all instruments and pitch correction.
