Session Guitarist

My name is Jan Kurfürst and I am a Berlin-based musician. In 2021, I graduated from British and Irish Institute for Modern Music (BIMM) in Berlin where I passed the course "BA(Hons) Professional Musicianship Guitar".

For your track, I am able to write and record guitar parts and solos, arrange several guitar tracks, or replicate parts given to me. This works for sections of a song as well as for whole songs of course. To write and play parts that convey emotions is a key element to me.

I have played in a variety of different bands and projects ranging from rock to pop to blues to funk to ambient and as such can bring a broad level of expertise and experience to your tracks. My guitar collection comprises the classics such as Les Paul, Strat, Tele, ES-335, 6- and 12-string acoustic and nylon string acoustic - so we can look exactly for the fitting sound for your production. Hardware-wise, I am using a Presonus FireStudio running into Logic Pro X.
