His progressions are very complex with an edgy and cool sound! I found his song quite challenging to write to and in my opinion the more challenging the song is, the better. Interview with Glenn Angell

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: True collaboration in songwriting and co-writing parts in songs that are all about simplicity, feel, and especially, emotion. I prefer a minimalist approach to coming up with beats, chords, pads and bass parts which gives the singer a lot of space for lyric writing and singing original melodies, harmonies, and ad libs.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to the songs I co-wrote Hold On, Sad Affair, or in Have to You project: Deep in the Night, Erika, and with Drowning Mind project: No More Looking Back. If these sounds, vibes, and style of guitar playing is something you'd like on your song, then I would probably be good fit for your project.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will be patient, open, and flexible and will work with you to give you the performance you need on your song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Is the song finalized? Or still a work in progress? Are you open to my creative input? Do you have reference tracks I could hear?
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Writing acoustic pop guitar parts.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Any artist who is flowing with feeling and emotion and would like to collaborate to express and share a song with the world! Lacey Sturm, from Flyleaf would be great to write a song with since she is such an expressive and powerful voice, one of my favorite singers! The songs I'm So Sick and Perfect are amazing songs! I Flyleaf and met the band too which was a great day! I would like to write and record a song with Carah Faye, singer in Shiny Toy Guns. Her voice is very emotive and moves me and she would sound great with my songs, I think! I absolutely love her voice in the STG songs Waiting Alone and If I Lost You, some of my all time favorite songs. I was lucky enough to see STG and meet her in person which was fun. /// I would have loved to have written and recorded a song or LP with David Bowie! He is a major inspiration to me and I really admire his diverse range of styles and sounds he was able to come up with and incorporate into his sound, particularly the 1975-1980 period. His songs such as Golden Years, TVC15, Stay, and Ashes to Ashes are some of the best songs I've ever heard...incredible! I feel very fortunate indeed to have seen David Bowie live!

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: An original soundtrack for a short, independent horror film and acoustic pop songs.
