I started working as one of the assistant engineers at a Headline Music Studios, Cambridge in 2018. This was a fantastic experience, getting to assist/work with some very well known clients (Members of Deep Purple, Don Broco, King Crimson, etc.). I am now the full time assistant engineer at Hurricane Sound, which specialises in audio post production for TV, Film and Social Media, etc. Hurricane caters to clients all over the world (inc, Amazon, Google, Netflix etc.) and working there alongside Thom Paisley (Senior Engineer) has been one of the most exciting & challenging experiences to date.
I run Glass Crush Audio, a mixing and mastering studio, based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This is very much a new venture, however I have worked for Clients world wide, with a ever growing portfolio. I'm happy to accommodate/create deals for artists who may also be in a similar position, and we could be of mutual assistance to each other!
Recent Credits include Klae (Multiple singles), and Post Mixing for UKTV add placements on all Sky & Channel 4 Channels.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Interview with Jack Munro
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Get your session preperation down! A well prepared session is a mixers dream! It's great when a session arrives that has been thoroughly prepared. Be organised and keep the session tidy, and more importantly well labelled!. If the mixer understands exactly what all the elements are, and the role they are playing within the track, the more time they have to be creative and take that mix to the next level.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything! Rock and Metal has been the foundation, however I am happy to work on all genres!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mixing - This is my favourite part of the process and the area I like to spend most of my time. I love experimenting with sounds, and opening up a session for the first time is like Christmas! Listening to the elements and discovering the parts that make a song exciting is always great fun.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A consistent and professional work ethic with creative attention to detail!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: This depends on the task! It varies so much dependant on the project. Over all, I like my work to be streamlined, efficient and hopefully fun!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My set up is modest, and focused around a streamlined work flow. I like thinks to be reliable, recallable and efficient which keeps me in the box on most projects. I work mainly in Pro Tools, and utilise UAD for AD/DA conversion. My Monitoring is built around the Amphion One 15's, which I have become a massive fan of! I am set up predominatly for mixing and mastering work, however thanks to a good network, I have access to other facilities for larger projects, which is always helpful!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I listen to a wide variety of music depending on my mood! Im happy to listen to anything from commercial pop to extreme metal. I am a big fan of producers/mixers/engineers such as Eric Valentine, Greg Wells, Adam Getgood, Romesh Dodangoda, Dan Lancaster and many more (way to many to list!).
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I primarily work in the music industry - Recording/Engineering, Mixing and Mastering for Bands. I have worked on Singles, EP's etc. which is the work I really love doing and I'd love to do more production work!. I am very lucky to work for a successful post production studio, and have a background working on projects for TV, Film and international advertising campaigns, with a dose of sound design thrown in!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communicate. The more communication the better in my opinion. I like to have a clear picture of the direction the client wants to take, and
