MATTS Mastering is a remote Audio Mixing and Mastering service utilizing DAW Software's such as Logic Pro and Pro Tools. We work with a variety genres of music from alternative rock, Country, Singer-songwriter to Hip-Hop and Rap. We provide all customers initially with an audio sample of the mixed and mastered track before accepting any payments to guarantee complete satisfaction.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently working on a mixing and mastering project for an alternative rock band called 'The Great Enough'.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Despite my huge respect for analogue gear, digitized music production gear makes life much easier for music producers.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to work remotely and work with clients from anywhere in the world with something I love doing.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: For mixing - ensure the audio tracks have no processing and are well recorded. For mastering - ensure the mix is well balanced and is not peaking.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Audio Interface, MacBook, Condensor Microphone, guitar and bass so I fully equiped to produce music on a dersert island.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I began producing music 9 years ago, graduated with BA Hons degree in music production, produced music for myself as an artist and currently working as a freelance music producer for other musicians,
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Would love to work with Liam Gallagher as I am huge Oasis Fan or to provide beats for rappers such as Travis Scott.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Initiate the mixing or mastering process by eliminating unnecessary or almost inaudible frequencies for every track.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Singer/Songwriters, Hip-Hop and Rap.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: As a music producer, mixing and mastering is my forte. As a musician, I am particularly good at song writing and playing the guitar.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: For a mixing project we will ensure that there is enough space in the mix, reduce muddiness and add clarity to essential parts such as the lead vocals. For a mastering project, we will add final touches to the mix by enhancing the frequencies and dynamics.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Clients sends there audio tracks for mixing or mastering. I will mix or master the song. Then I send the client a 30-40 second sample of the mix and mastered song and ask for the approval. If they are happy with the final mix or master, I will request the payments. Once the payment has gone through, I send them the whole track.

A: Matts Mastering promarily focuses on Digital Audio Mixing & Mastering. However, we do offer other services such as music composition, beat production and audio editing.
