Seth is a highly talented writer and producer. I've had the chance to work with him on multiple projects, and each one has been unique and highly energetic. His lyrical creativity and ability to craft catchy hooks is top notch and his production organization (consistent tracks, ad libs, vocal doubles) is always super efficient and easy for me to just drop in the stems and get to mixing. He also has great knowledge of production that allows him to craft tracks that are 100% ready for mixing and mastering. 10/10 would recommend his skills!

Interview with Seth Hirsch

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I was very excited to do my first EP with major producers, it was in an intimate studio and gave me a chance to understand how open minded and experimental the greatest producers are to get the greatest end results. I was songwriting, recording my vocals and working in studio with multi-platinum Grammy winning producers such as Nottz, Lex Luger, Bink, and more.

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: For any customers looking to hire a provider like me, I would say feel free to reach out and go into detail about your artistic vision. I love collaborating with customers to create songs that are emotionally-provoking and unique to them.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: If I was on a desert island, I'd have my laptop, iphone, headphones, microphone and interface.

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: I've been making music since I was about 16, I first began freestyle rapping in the school cafeteria and recording songs in my basement with friends. I moved to New York to continue writing songs and performing music and poetry. I landed my first placement in 2017 ghostwriting rap verses for the cast of Hamilton the Musical on an MTV segment. I began working with major artists and producers the following year, and have since been on a journey to create the best music i can with the best people i can.

  9. Q: How would you describe your style?

  10. A: My style is a mixture of hip hop, alternative pop, melodic trap, and grunge rock. I was exposed to a diverse range of music growing up and developed my taste.

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: My strongest skill is songwriting- crafting a song concept with vocal topline, lyrics and structure.

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: Catchy Top Line Melody, Captivating Flow, Strong Lyrical Choices, Emotional Expression and Character Development. I'm very accommodating and easy to work with, I like to give my all to a project and make sure I execute my client's vision.

  23. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  24. A: My promise to my clients is to deliver them satisfactory results as quickly as possible. I promise to treat every project as if it's my own and give my all to get the best result. I will always make sure my clients and I are on the same page every step of the way.

  29. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  30. A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that I only work within the hip hop genre... I actually write and collaborate within all genres and enjoy adding new energy to projects of all kinds.

  31. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  32. A: The first question I like to ask my clients is what service I can provide for their record- vocal melody topline, lyric writing, full song demo, rewriting, etc. Is there a specific vision you have for this song? What comes to mind when you think of this song?

I'm just a fan of music in general and I'd love to work with all types of artists from all over the world.
