  4. A: A Motown cover for fun. It sounds like the record and it was a blast. Bass, drums, and tambourine.

  6. A: Drum tracks for a project.

  10. A: Both, because both do a thing that is unique.

  12. A: I'll give my best.

  16. A: Q: Who have you worked with? Who do yo know? A: A lot of people. Some you've heard of, most you never have heard of.

  18. A: Everyone gives bassists crap and discounts their role, but everyone wants a good bassist and complains when there isn't one around .

  20. A: Do you have tomorrow's winning lottery numbers and will you share them with me please?

  21. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  22. A: Do your thing. I'm here to help.

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: A solar powered generator, a P.A. system, a bass, set of drums, and a mic.

  26. A: Record music or be a history teacher. Music won out. 22 years.

  28. A: Solid and melodic.

  30. A: Levon Helm would have been fun..... he grooved.

  32. A: Play half of what you want to. Let the tune breath. Leave space for others. Is a team sport.

  36. A: Listening and creating.

  38. A: I play for the tune. I support the melody and do so rhythmically.

  40. A: Listen, make notes, ask the client what feeling they want conveyed, and conveying said feelings.

  41. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  42. A: Pro Tools HD with Neve and API style preamps. AKG, Shure, Neumann, Modded ribbon mics.

  43. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  44. A: That would be a list that is way too long to type out. Talking Heads, Herbie Hancock, Roy Huskey Jr. and Sr., Al Jackson Jr., Junior Walker, too many to list really.

  45. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  46. A: Create bass parts, arrange, composed with them, just brainstorm for the benefit of the piece. It is a team sport.
