  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I was the mixing engineer for artist Dej Loafs EP titled "#AndSeeThatsTheThing". I also co-produced a song on that EP featuring artist Future, called "Hey There"

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I Will be mixing artist Dej Loaf's upcoming debut album

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: They both sit well with me. But whatever setup works best for each individual, works best period

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I guarantee my clients' satisfaction on each project. I am open to notes, criticism, and submitting multiple drafts

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: Its in the field that I'm passionate about and studied in school: Music

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: They ask me how well I think I will perform at my job they hire me for. I answer that every client who has every hired me for work has returned for at least a second project

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: Many people think that anybody with Pro Tools and some plugins can do what an experienced engineer/producer can do, but it takes a talented ear and years of true practice to achieve the ability it takes to properly balance a song's mix

  16. A: "What are you currently working on?"

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: "You should feel comfortable putting your hard work in someone's hands, who is going to do their best to be another set of ears and help you achieve the goal you set out to accomplish in your project"

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: Started as an inter at Circle House Studios in Miami, Fl, and worked my way up to an engineer. After working there for a couple years, began to freelance under my own company, where I've hit most of my major success

  24. A: Chameleon

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Drake. He is performing at such a high level in his career, and he isn't afraid to cross genres

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Try to make your production as impactful as possible, by being as simple as possible

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: I make vocals shine in the mix!

  34. A: Balance

  36. A: I talk to the artist about what they want for their song. Then, I listen to it a few times to understand what the artist is trying to accomplish. I then do what I feel is needed for it, and return a draft to the artist, making changes or fixes as they might need.

  38. A: I work in different studios, but my home base is my home setup where I have mixed for artists Dej Loaf, Future, Young Thug, and more...
