Jorge Viñals on SoundBetter

My highlights are a soundtrack I made when my name in the credits came up just after Pedro Almodóvar. I also did the music for an international ad for Coca-Cola. I've been producing for 25 years. My dream is to help artists find their sound and to end up being an old man surrounded by orchestras and machines making soundtracks for sad movies.

I'm the mixture between a music composer with a classical education, a sound engineer with studio experience and a guy who's been making music with computers since his teens (that means around 25 years already, damn). The line can be drawn if that's what you want, but we can work on everything. I can be stuck with a kick for a week, make an arrangement for strings or just mix. I love everything if there's sound involved.

But I also love being on the journey with you. That means you may have that Ableton session full of great ideas that still lack of something you can't find. I can walk with you through the process of finishing those songs, make arrangements for, let's say, strings, find the right kick and bass, help you with some structure and give you ideas on how to approach the vocals of your production. We can work on making a few different songs and ideas sound coherent to build an album or EP, or just to find your sound.

Through this process we can also start thinking about how you want to perform this music live and find options depending on what you see yourself doing and your means.

I just love doing all this stuff. I know I'm not the award winning engineer you may be looking for, but don't let that deceive you. BTW all the instruments on my tracks are real people playing mallets, strings, woodwinds, percussion, and singing.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.
